Answering the Call. No Matter What.

Marcia Coker makes it happen. And “it” is just about anything she sets her mind to.

At Roshal Health, Marcia has been the driving force in launching and expanding Roshal’s ability to offer on-location medical clinics with diagnostic services like echocardiogram, pulmonary function testing, and more.

Before Marcia arrived at Roshal, this type of scheduled service offering didn’t exist. Shortly after she started in 2021, when the need for a remote clinic for military veterans first presented itself, she helped build a model that would allow Roshal Health to provide its services anywhere around the world.

Certainly, Marcia’s own military background fueled her drive. Born into a military family, Marcia spent eight years in the Air Force proudly serving her fellow enlisted men and women as an X-ray, mammography, and ultrasound technologist. Not long after beginning her healthcare career in the military, Marcia realized that caring for patients, and veterans in particular, would be her life’s work.

After her military service, Marcia transitioned to a job at the Department of Defense and then to Audie L. Murphy Veterans’ Hospital, where she served her fellow veterans and other government employees as an ultrasound and vascular technologist. She worked overnights during COVID-19, and after that unprecedented and often unnerving time, decided to pursue a non-hospital setting for her next career stop.

Marcia joined Roshal Health as a Zone Manager in 2021. She quickly proved herself with peers and clients, leading to her promotion to Regional Manager, New Markets based in San Antonio, where she lived with her military husband and two young children.

During her tenure, Roshal Health was asked to set up a remote respiratory services clinic for veterans on behalf of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. It was an excellent opportunity for all involved. The only caveat? Roshal did not have a mechanism to facilitate on-site medical clinics at the time.

Through effort and outreach, Marcia assembled a team of licensed clinicians and identified a location, and less than two months later, Roshal Health was holding its first respiratory services clinic for U.S. military veterans in Macon, GA. Since then, there’s been no turning back.

Under Marcia’s leadership, Roshal now operates 80-90 monthly clinics, almost all for veterans. Her team includes over sixty medical professionals providing imaging, respiratory, and other services from Arkansas to Alaska and beyond.

Marcia’s relentless dedication and expertise have transformed Roshal Health’s pre-scheduled services into an invaluable resource for U.S. military veterans across the country, ensuring that they receive the essential medical care they need, wherever they are.

With Marcia leading the way as Senior Director of Clinical Initiatives, Roshal Health’s remote clinics enable services and care without boundaries. As the division continues to expand its staff, capabilities, and reach, it demonstrates that with enough vision, talent, and determination, remarkable achievements are always within reach.
